By clicking on 'Project' on the left hand menu, then 'People' in the sub-menu, you can access detail on users at project level. Here you can specifically assign people (coders) to your project and assign those users work/coding to be done.
The options available in this section are described below.
Tab | Description |
---|---|
People | Lists project users and their permissions at administrator, group and project level. Permissions can be edited at a project level (e.g. Supervisor, Codeframe editor, etc). Existing users can be added to the project group here. |
Coding Allocations | Each coder is listed here, with their allocated coding tasks, waves, language and quota. Quota type and amount can be edited here. See section below for specific details of coding allocation screen. |
Add Allocation (top right) | Coding allocations (with ability to edit all above fields) can be added here. |
Choosing 'Coding allocations' will enable you to allocate coding to (external) coders within the following parameters:
Item | Description |
---|---|
Coder | The user that the allocation will apply to |
Task | The task(s) to include in the allocation rule. Select either a single task or all tasks. |
Wave | The wave(s) to include in the allocation rule. Select a single wave or all waves. |
Language | The languages to include in the allocation rule. Select a single or all languages. |
Quota Type | This setting can take the following values:
|
Quota | The quantity of workloads to include in the allocation rule. This is either an absolute number or a percentage, depending on the Quota Type selected. |
Include Coded Workloads | Whether to include coded items in the allocation rule. Usually coded workloads are not included, because you only want external coders to work on new/uncoded workloads. However, sometimes external coders are required to check or modify coded data, so you may want to include coded workloads. |
