This article lists and explains the options available within each of the Data Tools, which can be accessed via Administration, Projects, Select project, Data Tools (bottom right of menu). The purpose of the Data Tools section is to adjust records such as deletion, transformation of data, etc.

| Enter IDs | The IDs (as per import file) that should be deleted - each on a new line |
| Wave | Choose the wave for which the IDs should be deleted from |
| Delete Coded Data | |
| Select Option to delete | Delete from specified tasks Delete using workload IDs |
| Select Task(s) | Choose the coding tasks from which to delete |
| Delete Translations | |
| Select questions | Choose questions to delete translations from. Ability to filter, select with search. |
| Backup Projects | |
| (simply click on button) | Backup will be performed and link emailed |
| Import File(s) | |
| Select file | Choose file to be imported |
| Choose format | Select from translation feed file, Excel and tab delimited. See here for when to use each option. |
| Import Resource(s) | |
| Select codeframe | Choose the codeframe for which you wish to show resources |
| Select File | Select the image files you wish to import for each code in turn. |
| Import | Once you have selected all the resource files you want to import, click 'Import' to perform action for all. |
| Reset Workloads | |
| (simply click on button) | Resets all orphan workloads. |
| Collapse Variables | |
| Parent variable | Usually the first question within the loop/nested variable. |
| Select variables to collapse | Choose all questions to be collapsed into nesting format. |
| Update Language | |
| Select language for project | Choose the correct language for your project. |
