Introduction
The Deep Dive feature in codeit allows you analyze and interrogate data in your Project using a simple "Chat" style interface.
By simply asking questions or giving it instructions you can quickly generate summaries, data, charts and exports.
This allows you to quickly delve into specific areas of interest and find answers at lightning speed.
Accessing Deep Dive
To access Deep Dive, select Visualize from the codeit Start Menu and click on the Deep Dive tab.
How Does Deep Dive Work?
Deep Dive takes your questions and instructions and uses AI to automatically analyse your data and return answers.
For example, you might ask it to summarise the main themes, produce a Word Cloud, or draw a bar chart.
Deep Dive has access to all of the data within your Task, so you can also ask it to make use of Context Variables in the analysis.
For example, you might ask it to include a breakdown by Age or NPS score in a bar chart.
Lastly, you can ask Deep Dive to export any of the results it generates.
The following table lists all of the features available within Deep Dive.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Summary | Use Deep Dive to summarize your data and generate counts and percentages at the overall level, or within sub-groups. |
Charts | Use Deep Dive to generate custom charts on-demand |
Exports | Use Deep Dive to export to CSV or PowerPoint including custom charts. |
Can I Trust the Results?
Deep Dive is not an AI "Black Box" that forces you to blindly trust the results.
All of the results contain clickable links that drill down into the underlying verbatims - allowing you to validate the results and get a deeper understanding of your data.
Chat History
Similar to tools like ChatGPT, Deep Dive provide a list of your previous interactions so you can revisit any of your previous "Chats". Using this history, you can go back to any previous work at any time and continue where you left off.
