Introduction
codeit stores a small amount of personally identifiable data about users defined in the system.
This page outlines our policy on handling this data.
Types of Data
The following data fields are held by codeit and are necessary for the standard operation of the software (e.g. logging in, monitoring user activity, managing users etc..).

| First Name | Stores the first name of a user |
| Last Name | Stores the surname of the user |
| Email Address | Stores the email of the user - used for login and for sending system emails |
Data Retention
The fields above are held as long as a user is active in the codeit system.
The data fields are automatically deleted in response to the following events:
- 90 days after a user is deleted within from the system
- 90 days after a sub-company is deleted
- 90 days after an account or free trial account is closed
