Introduction
This page sets out the data retention policy for data contained within the codeit application.
Data Types
There are three different types of data covered by this policy as follows:

| Project Data | Project Data relates to all data created or uploaded as part of a coding Project within codeit. For example, survey data, codeframes and coded data and usage statistics. | Details |
| Personal Data | Personal Data is personally identifiable data relating to codeit users, for example, First Name, Last Name and email address | Details |
| Usage Data | Usage Data is data about a company's usage of codeit. e.g. number of workloads coded, coding sessions, number of records uploaded etc.. | Details |
Policy Principles
This policy seeks to ensure that codeit complies with relevant data laws (e.g. GDPR) and data is only retained within the system for as long as is strictly needed for the normal operation of codeit.
